01
Explain the situation on the ground
Tell us whether the house is occupied, who manages it, and why you are considering selling. Confirm that it is off-market and not currently listed for sale on the MLS. A general condition summary is enough to introduce it.
02
Identify what a review would require
Discuss how visits could be arranged and which information is available. Keep private occupant documents out of the inquiry. Any necessary record review should use an appropriate channel and account for existing agreements.
03
Work through the handover with the proposal
A potential price should be considered with occupancy, property condition, responsibilities, and the proposed date. Ask for unclear terms to be resolved in writing. A purchase remains subject to agreement and the required closing steps.
